I found the story to be a bit of a meander and slow at times it made a change to have a story set somewhere else.
Interesting characters who obviously had a back story ( have ordered the first two books ).
Found the ending to be a bit strange, they are all going to the same place and things just happen.
Never got a full explanation as to why certain thing happened and how they happened , may be I missed the connections.
The writing style was good and at least they kept in some of the local saying and didn't change them so that it was easier for some people to understand.
It might be easier for people to read the other books first so that they know what's happened and not try to work it out from the small snippets given.
