Not much luck

I have no idea why I am having such back luck with books that fall into either the crime and mystery and thriller and suspense genre lately! I used to absolutely love every single one that I read, but lately, I've not had so much luck.

Since I've not been enjoying what I've been reading, I've been struggling to come up with sufficient things to put into reviews.

It also turns out that I'm back on my train of reading books that are in the middle of a series. This is book 3 in Sam Blake's Cathy Connolley series, but I feel that I was able to understand it as a stand alone as I wasn't confused about anything while reading. I like it when books in a series do that.

The two deaths in the book play out as if people think they're connected, but others seem to be hiding things from the police... which could possibly help the cases in question.

This book did have a good plot, and I'll have to read it again when I'm in a crime/mystery reading mood.
