From falling in love with the villain to seeing his true colours
“My name is Stacey Wood and I was raped.” i loved how that sentence both opened and finished the book. it was α really good book and was quite interesting and talked about victims guilt. it makes you fall in love with the villain and then makes you realise how easy it could’ve been for that to happen to you or anyone. i wish i could’ve seen some justice for her at the end and there weren’t many quotes that stood out, but besides that it was α good read and i recommend it.
I only recently realised there was α second book called ‘No Shame’, and it is my current read.
The reason I love this book the most is because it makes you fall in love villain, and go on the same journey that the main character, Stacey, goes on. it captivates how easy it is to fall into α bad situation like this, and how the healing process isn’t all unicorns and rainbows. 4/5 stars <333
