Although it's a bit teenybopper and probably not at all aimed at my age group. The cover and that hard hitting first sentence made me want to give it a go. I thought that character the development was very good and I got totally invested in Stacey's story. The trouble for me on this is there is so much build up to the rape (as you would expect) and then nothing afterwards.
I feel like the point of the story seems to be that rape comes in many forms but regardless it's still rape, they shouldn't be trying to justify it or feel like it was their fault. Not much about what happens afterwards. Does she ever do anything about it? etc.
It ended very abruptly.... I don't feel like you gain any more info after reading the whole book as you did just after that first whopping sentence. Could have ended it there!
