This book should be read by all teenage girls. The hard hitting story of the rape of Stacey Woods certainly packs a punch. You very quickly become invested in this story as it unfolds. There is a twist in the plot too which I did not see coming. I think this was down to the emotional investment I felt for the protagonist. The powerful friendship and rocky home life all add to this story. Which shows how quickly and easily things can spiral out of control. The emotions which are evoked by Stacey are very real and I found myself nodding in agreement as the story comes to a conclusion. I instantly purchased the second book in this series No Shame which is by the same author and in a strange way can not wait to read the concluding part. As for suggesting all teen girls read this book I would go as far as to say that all women should too. There is nothing rosy about this book and tissues will be needed.
