Anne Cassidy's No Virgin is about a girl named Stacey Woods who goes through a sexual attack.
The story in my opinion is extremely well written and has a powerful message. I was hooked from the start and couldn't put the book down when I read it at the start of the year.
I liked how the story had dedicated sections to the before an after the attack and how it showed the uncertainty Stacey had for talking to anyone about it and her thought process on the entire thing.
Stacey's story is truly powerful and I believe that everyone should read at least once, even if they are unsure about reading it. It is definitely a subject I believe should be addressed more and I feel this book however short did a good job at doing so.
I rate this book 5 stars and I am also anticipating reading the sequel.
