I really wanted to like this book. I bought this because it claimed to be similar to the Terry Hayes book 'I Am Pilgrim,' which is one of my favourite books. Unfortunately, this is nothing like "I Am Pilgrim." The story is very convoluted and there are too many characters. As a result of this, it is extremely difficult to follow. I have to admit, I rarely give up on a book but I could not read past the first 150 pages or so (even that was a push.) The parts of the book that I managed to read were full of cliches the plot was quite complicated and the characters were too far fetched to believe. I think if I had not have read the far superior Terry Hayes book first, I might have stuck with this and finished.
