I borrowed this book from a friend and I’m glad I got the chance to do so. It’s not a book I’d normally pick up because it’s more political and what I’d consider a bit of a boys book but I ended up really enjoying it. I found it quite slow at time and still would say its not something I’d pick up personally but I felt that the plot was really good. It was quite relevant to today’s climate but turned it into a bit of a more dramatised version (if that’s even possible). I ended up feeling quite connected to one of the young characters in the book and got quite upset at some of the more shocking bits. It’s part of a series and I think I would borrow the second book from a friend to see how the story continues
