Just wow... ok so being a terrorist action thriller, I wasn't really sure that this book was going to be my cup of tea when I picked it up ... but it definitely exceeded my expectations! It was really gripping from page 1 and I found myself perpetually on the edge of my seat hungry to find out what was going to happen. I thought the pacing was really fantastic and I felt that the plot had just the right amount of twists and turns - the novel definitely wasn't predictable or stereotypical and kept me guessing right until the end. I found the main character Mark Dane a very likeable character, and enjoyed that he had a very human and emotional side in contrast to some of the other hero's that you see in this kind of genre. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more from James Swallow!
