This is a classic spy thriller set in the early twenty-first century. As someone who has worked in counter-terrorism for the past twenty-five years certain aspects were very relatable and very relevant, from the Al Sayf terrorist organization and how it operates, to the Combine and how it finances the terrorism.
The central character MI6 officer Marc Dane is a classic hero by necessity. He is acting out of hate and fear revenge and a need to protect his family, and avenge his friends and teammates. Following him as he runs and hides from France to Italy, from Turkey to America, fighting to prove his innocence and save hundreds of people from Al Sayf's brutal, terrible and horrific attack.
It is a must read I could not put it down, it was one of the best books I have ever read, very enjoyable very thrilling I was at the edge of my seat reading this. I loved it.
