Alas..
I also feel guilty giving this book a review that may not be as good if I had read its prequel.
But in all honesty the struggle to read it left me feeling a bit of a failure.
There was not enough story line from the first book to capture my imagination or intrigue me. Even though I waded on the style of writing did not hit a nerve with me and unfortunately it was a book I kept putting down to read others that were more inviting.
Reviews are there to guide you, I would say this book might have fared better with me had I had read the first, but as I didn’t it isn’t a book I could recommend unless this was a genre that entirely fired you up.
The front cover was amazing and, for me, probably the best thing about it.
