I love a dystopian novel and as far as this goes, this did not fail to take my attention. However, I do feel like there is another novel I should have read before reading this. I do not think this is the first book of the series. Unless I was not reading it right, I feel like I was missing big parts of the book which made it a bit difficult to get into for a while.
However, the picture of a world that has been destroyed was painted very well. You can really feel how the world has suffered which is good because there is also a picture painted of how things were before the world started to fall apart.
