The Post apocalyptic is a genre I really enjoy but I was so lost reading this that in the end I gave up entirely.
The writing style is great and the story too but it was pretty much impossible to read without knowing the back story which isn’t the authors’ fault really so I feel bad leaving anything less than three stars.
With some series you can pick up a second or third book and it will quickly explain any gaping holes or relationships meaning it doesn’t matter if you’ve not read the instalments before it doesn’t matter too much. But unfortunately that’s not the case with this one.
That said from what I did read I have added the first book to my wish list so hope to return to leave an updated review soon.
