This a series of books which you need to read in order. I have not read the other book before this and I felt a little lost and confused. There are points k didn't know what was going on a d I felt I had missed something.
I am sure if I had read the other book I would have really liked the is book. As the idea for the book is very interesting. The author does a really good job in making you think about what would it be like if this really happened. There is also an aspect of wow this is really interesting and you want the best for the characters.
I will keep an eye out for the other book and I might come back to the second. As I feel I would be able to give this a faired review.
