When I first started reading this I found it very difficult to get into,it jumped from person to person and was hard to tie in together, I hadn’t read South and was thinking I would need to before reading North but partway through it was all tying in together and became a really good book, the idea about America divided and the things that was happening to the people really did become something that you couldn’t help wondering if maybe that could happen but hoping to goodness that it didn’t. You have to read carefully to get the distinction between the North and South people because that is the main make up of the story but it is so good that it is worth persevering with that first part.
I would definitely recommend anybody to read this one, you will enjoy it
