I have been excited about this book since I initially read the blurb. The possible themes made me think of those pinnacle to 'The Anatomy of a Soldier' by Harry Parker and 'Stronger' by Jeff Bauman (two of my favourites!). Those themes being that one groundbreaking moment that has tremendous effects and for this book, I hope for a heart wrenching roller coaster, which I can already feel brewing.
The cover is just stunning, reflecting that 'hazy blue sky' and the overall mood that can be interpreted from the first two chapters and the blurb.
Already, I feel a connection to the character of Oliver, who is the victim of the attack. As well as an interest into the perspective of his mother, which was interesting and I feel going to make this book special.
