The synopsis leaves you in no doubt that this is going to be a read that is an emotional minefield. This is reinforced by the coming of age beginnings of both Oliver and Rebekah. There’s a dysfunctional family at play here and I particularly enjoyed Eve’s point of view before and after the event. The chapter ends on a ‘need more’ point.
