I was drawn to this book, as it was totally different to anything i normally read. I do have varied tastes but normally stick to the same genre and only occasionally branch out to others.
I'm glad the cover and first impression drew me in as it's such an interesting book.
It did take me a little while to get into and it's not a quick read but it's so worth a go!
You get flashbacks of his life before the incident and leading right up to it. not only do you get his view but you also see how his friends, family and community dealt with the events.
of course, then you are at the present day and what life he is now leading and 10 years later trying unlock the events.
It's an a truly, emotional read but one you really need to give time to.
