This was a really interesting book to read about, what with the current situation that has happened in the US. This book was really moving and truly heartbreaking. Although at times I did feel like it was dragging ever so slightly, I understand that it was essential to the plot and necessary for the story to develope.
I was really engrossed worh the story from the very beginning, and never felt like I was forcing myself to get through it. The language style is very simple to get into and it was always easy to decipher who was speaking, as I sometimes have a problem with this.
Overall i felt the pace of the story very good and (like I said previously) although there were monents I felt it was a little slow I appreciate their importance to the plot.
