I think I may have been remiss. I have only read one book by Wilbur Smith(I think?) as such I can't really claim to be a fan or particularly interested in this book.
Biographies aren't really my cup of tea. However I did find that the story of how an author initially starts writing started to peak my interest.
Really this was never going to grab me, but I appreciated the efforts he has put in, and may go looking for some of his novels and see if they live up to the efforts and trials he went through writing them,
