I have read a few of Wilbur Smith's novels and had read a little about him before, but never realised what a varied and exciting life this man has lead. If this was put as a work of fiction it would be a best seller. Don't read a lot of non fiction but this is one I will love to finish. Great cover so evocative of Africa, love the red and black used.
