The reason that I don’t like this book is probably something that I should have realised before reading, but the majority of this book involves some kind of hunting or killing of animals and it’s just not something that I can get on board with. I understand that he picks the weakest animals and that sometimes it’s for the safety of others but in my mind I can’t justify it and I couldn’t bring myself to read more of the book.
The writing style however, is very nice and feels very personal. He’s had lots of incredible stories and it’s nice that he wants to share them, i’m just not the right reader for this one.
If you are in any way a lover of animals then I would advise to give this book a miss.
