I absolutely love books with representation! Although this sounds like a particularly harrowing and moving novel, it sounds like an incredibly important one. The first impression has left me desperately wanting to know what happens to Lolo and Rae. What story does Grace have to tell? Books that span decades with the same family always seem to have so much depth. I’ve been left wanting to know what has happened to this family across the generations, and can they heal from the traumas they’ve faced?
