At first, the book seemed very interesting. The cover is very artistic but it doesn't fit well with the book in my opinion.
It gets straight in there from the start with an explicit description but the writing style was quite difficult for me to follow and continue reading.
If you are one for reading books with a strong female, racial prejudice, racial segregation, poverty, and violence against women, revolving around babies and motherhood then this may be the book for you.
