I read this book expecting it to be a revelation if the 60’s onwards and wasn’t disappointed. It show’s definitely how times have evolved and how strong women have become through the years. Different eras evolve but the story is the same message. How we become loved how we lose love but how it defines us and carries us through our lives. I’ve rarely read a book that has touched me and made me feel so emotional about a story. It has strong characters and a strong story through the years it also shows you how your past can shape your life. Something that I’ve believed in. The author has a deep emotive way of writing which will grip you from the beginning. I liked this book it was a good story but it also led you on a path of understanding and love and friendship. Something that evolves way through the pages. Read this book and take it to your heart superb.
