This was quite a good book but I was slow to read it as would feel a needed a break.
It gave me so many different feelings, happy, sad, confused and sometimes guilty as well.
The book is told in three parts, it does have a common thread but it is hardly mentioned, I kept waiting for it to come out but it didn’t unfortunately, I think it would have been good if it had.
The story is told in three parts by three different stories and years. The first part was about Grace and reading that I thought I would throughly enjoy the book, I thought Grace and Maw Maw were lovely characters but that soon changed and not in a good way.
The second part was about LoLo, she had been forced into having an abortion when the woman she was living with found her husband abusing LoLo.
The last part is about Rae, LoLo’s daughter as Rae’s daughter Sky.
Keep your eyes on the dates at beginning of the three books because it will be hard to make sense otherwise.
