Although I'm not a fan of "Strictly...." (in fact I've never watched a programme, only seen snippets!) I have heard of Anton du Beke and am aware that he is a good dancer so this would lend authenticity to his book. However, when I was reading the opening chapters I began to doubt that his skills as a writer match his dancing skills. I became irritated by his overuse of adjectives and thought that his style is too descriptive for me. The cynical side of me wondered whether this book would have been published if it had been submitted by an unknown author. Maybe by not entering the draw for a copy I'll be missing a treat but I'll keep an eye on the reviews!!
