I must admit I was at first a little surprised to see that this book was written by none other than Anton du Beke, which automatically made me curious about the book. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the storyline was very romantic and seemed to promise an interesting read. From reading the beginning of the book, it certainly feels promising with a really nice and inviting writing manner and what feels like a nice story building. Looking forward to reading the rest of the book. I feel like this would make for a nice read for older women, perhaps reminding them of their war days. However, as a young woman, I also found this made for a nice read!
