As a young woman of 19, I was worried that I would have no chance at resonating with this book at all. However, Du Beke's clear ability to approach writing as he does dance, to apply a layer of poetic movement to just the first few pages left me reading on. Hopefully, the rest of the novel continues as it started as we follow the journey of two very different yet already developed characters. A brilliant debut to the writing world!
