I really did not like this book but then, I only purchased it because it was on offer and was dubious from the start.
The story is sweet enough, repressed chamber made gets a job at the Buckingham Hotel and is awestruck by it and the changes in her life, I think the problem is, though, that it’s too sickly sweet. I didn’t exactly expect Jack Bauer from Anton, but this reads like Downton Abbey, only missing the dramatic storylines and really only focusing on the nice heart- warming parts.
I have never been a fan of the cheesiness of Strictly Come dancing, which I think was part of my problem with this title. What I will say, however, is that if you do like Strictly, I think you are likely to enjoy this.
