I wasn't sure what to expect from Anton du Beke but...wow, what a book!!!
Full of glamour, romance, gossip, intrigue and rich pompous aristocrats!
One Enchanting Evening was such an engrossing read, it was hard to put down. There was an abundance of likeable, authentic characters and the vivid descriptions were perfect for transporting you straight to the hotel and into the world that Anton had created, all this was combined with a wonderful and substantial story line.
I especially liked Raymond and Nancy's characters and I look forward to reading more about them.
I enjoyed the style of writing and thought this story was very well written.
This is an extraordinary debut and I can't wait to read more from Anton
