The first thing that I fell in love with from this book was Anton Du Beke's exquisite description of the sheer feeling of euphoria that you experience while dancing. I am currently training to be a professional dancer ( Instagram @lucybennettdance ) so as soon as I read the way he described the feeling of dancing and being on a stage in general was incredibly relatable to me and inspired me as a creative.
However, I was shocked to discover how much I fell in love with the characters and the intricate plots of each of them. I loved that not only did every character have a voice but also a story too; a philosophy that I really appreciated as a reader.
