I have always been a huge fan of Anton since he first appeared on Strictly. I recently purchased both books at one of his recent book signings in Norwich.
With this first book, I was not sure quite what I was expecting, however it did surprise me in some of its content, I had not expected the links to Nazism and Racism. However I did enjoy it, the characters were not very in depth, perhaps they would grow in the next book, but sometimes we all need a book that we can just pick up and escape in don't we? We all love to dream sometimes of times gone by, dancing the night away wearing our sequins and diamonds and this book fitted the bill perfectly. Yes OK it falls into the category of chick lit, and I think that Anton still has to improve as an author but I enjoyed it and isin't that the main reason of reading any book?
