I quite enjoyed this story, and had received a copy with no knowledge of whom the Author was, as I don’t personally watch Tv, despite enjoying series on Netflix and such.
Having heard who had written it, I was instantly wary and actually put off reading the book for fear of the story turning out to be a lot of hype over nothing. A mistake on my part, because this was a truly wonderful romantic story!
I adored the Characters and how each was introduced. I loved every individual for different reasons, and they were all very different. The Author has done a great job of making each of them well rounded and realistic, they are far from perfect, making them fun to read about and very human.
The setting was beautifully described, and made me feel like I was there watching. The descriptions are stunning, so a perfect match for the cover! It made me hanker to visit the time and place, to experience the story a long with the people that unfolded before me.
There were surprises and intrigue in plentiful amounts, each person reacting differently as they worried about how the secrets coming out would effect them personally, and this made for a beautiful Romantic tale, that had surprising secrets and turns in the story throughout!
All I can say is. If you’re looking for a wonderful story that will make you sigh and smile, and tut at some of the realistic but at times terrible choices of characters, pick this up, you won’t regret it!
