To start with, from the blurb, I was pretty skeptical of this story but the insane quality of the authors writing kept me reading. The phrase 'until the doorbell shattered their dreams' is simply beautiful and a real testimony to how well this author can write. I love how indefinite the first chapters are, how although you sort of know what has happened, you are not quite sure, because this really immerses you in the story and make it that much more engaging. Also the cover's gorgeous.
