My initial impression of the first read of this book is that its going to be horrendously heartbreaking, tearjerking and yet compelling and addictive.
Already I'm gripped by the story, all those families lives interlinked by a car crash that their children have been involved in.
I like how it starts introducing each of the families, how they're scared that their child is involved, and then them all waiting in the hospital together for news. Its left me wanting more, I need to know if they're OK, what happened and what effect this will all have on the town.
The writing style seems good so far, quite pacey. Seems to be a fair few characters so I will need to concentrate on who everyone is! Would definitely like to read some more of this book.
