My first read by Caroline Bond so I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I got was an emotional story - told from several points of view depicting the repercussions of a car crash. Not only on those in the car but on those of the people who love them. Five teenagers are involved in a horrific car crash one fateful evening. That’s where the book starts and I was hooked straight away. We see the parents - their horror, their panic, their anger. We see the teenagers - the angst, the secrets, the despair. A really thought provoking story about how well we know our children, how far we’ll go to protect them, the lengths we’ll go to for justice & whether the heart can ever really forgive. Definitely recommend this one.
