A brilliantly written and gripping from the start book. Well rounded characters and a plot that flows effortlessly through the whole book. From the very first paragraph I was totally hooked and found it very difficult to put down. As a parent I felt for all of the parental characters through all of their differing emotions and reactions to the events of the crash. The opening which told of the crash itself was cleverly written, it gave enough information to grip the reader without giving too much away all at once.
The author has captured atmosphere and emotion throughout the book without over exaggerating for effect. The reader is swept along on the tide of the emotional situations and its a ride that's hard to get off. fantastic from start to finish.
