After a tragic accident involving a group of friends parts of this book will leave you in tears. The chapters are short enabling you to pick it up, read a while and then put it down as you please. Possibly the author has done it this way in order to allow the reader to pause, regain their composure and think about the book and what might the situation be like if this had happened to them. From prison cells to intensive care this book takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. From dealing with marital problems to a car crash it almost seems like you are intruding on people's lives but yet you cannot stop until you get to the final page of the book. This book challenges the reader , not something I would normally choose but a friend gave me a copy to read and I was hooked
