This novel was gripping from the start as it was intriguing to find out how all the characters were connected to each other.

As the story developed more and more was revealed about the intricate relationships between the children and with their parents.

The only spoiler to this book was the quite high amount of grammar and spelling mistakes that made the flow of the book quite disjointed.

I liked the ending of the book which showed that there is a chance for reform and that people can be given a second chance. It was a very humbling end.

I would definitely have picked this book to buy and read if I hadn’t received this book from readers first.

All in all one split second is a great novel with a scenario that is every parents worst nightmare. The repercussions of that one decision and the ripple effect it has on so many different lives. Good novel.
