Reading the first few (very few) pages this does not feel like a thriller as promised.
It seems more like a woman’s book ( am I allowed to say that in 2019?). A child lost. Wait for the tears. However the very start does indicate more sinister could lie within.
Let’s hope so!
Nice to see this is a British story among all the American gun toting guys I read about . That is very much in its favour.
