The cover does not reflect the genre at all, it looks more like a romance novel. These opening paragraphs are confusing; we start with the apparent death of a teenager, then move straight to a mother who has lost a three-year-old? It hasn’t really drawn me in to wanting to learn more. The opening scene does show some promise.
