The first extract of this book really gives nothing away. I'm fascinated to see what kinds of secrets the family is holding and how these tie to the loss of Ruby-May, as very little is revealed. I am also extremely interested in how the prologue ties in and am impressed that, in so few pages of writing, I am already gripped by this novel.
