Wow! After the premise immediately caught my attention I was disappointed to see how little content there was in the FI. So many blank pages just when I needed more!

The prologue, however, hooked me and paves the way for an emotional rollercoaster for one family with some very dark secrets surfacing on a make or break holiday. The prologue creates a palpably tense atmosphere and having read books by Sanjida Kay before I know she handles weightier subjects, such as grief, with a mature and sensitive eye.

An emotive book with a darker core and the story of one family in mourning. This books promises to be a worthwhile read with real depth. I would love to read.
