Tragedy
This was a very short first impression so there is not much to base a reaction on.
The opening prologue does draw you in with the mad dash down the cliff looking for a lost woman. The first chapter also sets the scene for the rest of the book quite well with the portrayal of a grieving mother struggling with the loss of a child and her own demons.
I'm genuinely on the fence with this one, it seems to have promise but I have read this author before and was left feeling a little underwhelmed.
