The cover instantly attracted me to read the short extract and I think it’s maybe giving a glimpse into the storyline.
I enjoy a family drama and even from the prologue this sounds like a gripping page turner, and it seems the story may be told from different character viewpoints which is a great way to connect with the characters, especially with the raw emotion conveyed in the first chapter! I already have so many questions and am eager to know what happened to Ruby-May! Could have happily continued to read on.
