It's been one year since Amy's daughter tragically drowned at her father's home whilst supposedly under his care. The family heads to Italy for a holiday and get a nasty surprise when Dad turns up. They all blame him for the death but is he really at fault. Amy's brother Nick has his doubts and soon learns things are more twisted than he ever realized.
This is a book filled with many twists and turns. It's quite dark and there are some heavy themes which may be too much for some people. The grief is very raw but written well. It cover many different phases of grief. The plot was interesting and the twists added depth but I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped. The ending was clever and heart breaking though. An interesting thriller full of twists.
