From a glance at the front cover you expect this to be a light summer read but as you read you see it is totally the opposite but I love that - the unexpected - all of which this book is totally about. I love how it was cleverly thought out to be set in such a tropical idyllic setting yet have such a dark undertone, it makes it such a unique and gripping read indeed.
The characters are a real strong highlight; I could not put the book down as I was so connected which each character's life with such emotion, backstory and personality to each and every one.
I escaped to a whole world of secrets, lies and deceit where nothing is excepted, dramatic turns ensured that I kept on turning page after page!
