I was looking forward to reading this book and I was not disappointed, I couldn't put it down!
The story is focused on the Flowers family and the grief they are all experiencing from losing their little girl. The family go on holiday for the anniversary of her death, but this is where the story twists and the secrets start to come out of the wood work.
I loved the character Nick, Amy's brother. At the beginning of the book he was made out to be useless and a let down, but throughout the story, he is the only one who's watches for the truth and brings the family together.
I enjoyed the way in which the book was written, with each chapter showing a different characters point of view. The book flashes back to times within their past, which highlights different events that lead up to current situations. Each character is portrayed and written well and you really get to see each side of their persona and really feel how grief affects each character.
There are certain twists withing the book and I really did not see them coming, but kept me turning the pages eager to read more.
I was disappointed when this book ended. I would highly recommend it and look forward to more of the authors work.
