The book did have a tinge of sadness to it with the death of ruby May and the rest of the family coming to terms with what had happened to them.
I liked how the chapters were again written from the views of the characters so you got their view of how they were feeling.
I did have a feeling that it wasn’t as clear cut as to who they were blaming for ruby mays death and the way the other characters were acting.
I loved the style of writing and thought it portrayed how a family would cope and how they can pull together in times of crisis and the when the realisation comes to them that they must find forgiveness for them to survive as a family. Really enjoyed it!
